Often the way we live day by day starts to become habit, and we do things almost without thinking. Wake up, get ready for work, go to work, come home, go to bed, wake up and repeat. Know it's no wonder we are so often bored and unmotivated with our lives when we begin to become accustomed to this type of activity every single day. But there are many ways to put variety back into your life, and it's actually a lot easier than you would think. While simple things like taking a different route to work or having something different to eat for lunch may not seem like a very big deal, on a deeper level they give your brain something else to think about, and your body something else to do. The possibilities really are endless. You can maybe try a new hairstyle, wear a different pair of clothes, watch a different type of movie or play a different type of game. What about changing the layout of furniture in your house? Even brushing you teeth with your non-preferred hand at least makes it a little more interesting. While it's not like a holiday in that you will return fully recharged and motivated, these little things still go a long way to the general wellbeing of your mind. Motivational affirmations are great for keeping you on track towards reaching your goals. When there's so much coming at you every day it's easy to get distracted by other things that are more appealing than what you might be needing to do. By choosing a few motivational affirmations that get you excited (or at least really interested) you can remind yourself through the day of your reason for doing what's needed. You might also try choosing one or two motivational affirmations that remind you to get moving because of what might happen if you don't get your task done. It's usually best to keep your motivational affirmations positive but everyone is different so choose whichever works best for you. It doesn't matter what you choose for your motivational affirmations as long as it has real meaning for you and is something that sparks enough emotion in you to get you moving in the direction you're wanting to go. That's what turns ordinary affirmations into motivational affirmations. Make sure your motivational affirmations create a clear picture in your mind of what you're wanting, a picture that you just can't resist. For instance; I knew I wanted my dream home someday and I had a pretty good idea of what it would be like but I didn't have a clear picture in my mind of exactly what it would look like. Then one day I was checking real estate listings online and found a house that fit what I was wanting, suddenly I had a very clear picture in my mind of what my house would look like. My motivational affirmations were simple but they made me think of that house and the feeling it gave me was incredible.
