Motivational affirmations are great for keeping you on track towards reaching your goals. When there's so much coming at you every day it's easy to get distracted by other things that are more appealing than what you might be needing to do. By choosing a few motivational affirmations that get you excited (or at least really interested) you can remind yourself through the day of your reason for doing what's needed.
